| Meet Lexi Thompson - U.S. |
Lexi Thompson from the U.S. won her seventh LPGA title after a final-round 68 that completed a 6-stroke victory over In Gee Chun of South Korea in the LPGA Thailand event on Sunday.
The Floridian hit an eagle on the 10th to go along with three birdies and a lone bogey for a 20-under-par total of 268.
Thompson was the first American to win the tournament.
Said Lexi the number 4 ranked player:
"I never like to count it as a win until it's over. I just try to play aggressive and play my best out there. I was just saying I had to make birdies to win this thing.
Chun was playing unbelievable with a three-birdie start, and I knew I had to make birdies to stop her. I was just trying to focus on my game and nobody else's out there."
