In the final chase, Branden Grace shot a 5-under 66 to win the RBC Heritage on Sunday for his first PGA Tour title and 11th worldwide victory.
He was 3 shots behind Luke Donald going into the final round and moved to the top of the leaderboard with four birdies on his first six holes.
Grace took full control with consecutive birdies on the 12th and 13th holes to move to 10-under. He overcame a final challenge on the 16th hole, rolling in a 12-foot par putt to maintain a three-shot lead.
Branden has proven himself internationally and was in the mix at both the U.S. Open and the PGA Championship last year and became just the second International player to go 5-0 at the Presidents Cup this past fall.
He finished Sunday's round at 9-under 275, two shots ahead of Luke Donald who shot a 71.
Grace's payday way $1,062,000 and a PGA Tour exemption through the 2017-18 season.
